Hello! And welcome to the home of The Renaissance Gal and Music in Motion! My name is Georgia Glunt, I own and operate these two small, but unique businesses.

I have been a Central Ohio resident for 30 years starting with my college days at Otterbein, graduating with a degree in music and business. During my 20 years working in the mortgage industry I always dreamed of having my own business. So in 1999 I left my position and started researching and exploring the world of self-employment.

In 2004 I started an errand business, which soon evolved into what today is The Renaissance Gal.

I have loved working with my hands as a do-it-yourselfer for years. My family owned a farm while I was growing up where I learned many of the skills I have today from my Dad. In addition projects around my home and that of friends have added to my experience.

The services I offer include  painting, power washing, minor repairs, yard work, errands and more.

My other passion, music, had professionally been on the back burner for many years, but in 2005 I began playing for senior residences around the Columbus area. That soon blossomed into parties, open houses and other events.

Outside of my two businesses, I sing tenor with the Columbus Sweet Adelines. At home I have two furry felines who allow me to cater to their every whim. Boots is a six year old black & white tuxedo cat and Star is a torti that just turned two.

My business does offer a variety of services, but more than that, I strive to offer my customers a high level of trust. I hope my clients will feel that with The Renaissance Gal, it is like inviting a trusted friend into their home.
